Circleville, OH — The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents over the weekend, with multiple reports of disturbances, accidents, and traffic violations.
On December 27, officers were called to Northridge Road shortly after 1 a.m. for a fire check, which was confirmed to be okay. A disturbance on West Main Street was reported shortly after, but no report was taken. The day continued with multiple 911 hang-ups, and a domestic dispute on Mace Drive led to a report being filed.
Several traffic incidents were recorded, including an injury accident on West Main Street and another on North Court Street, both of which resulted in reports being taken. The day also included reports of property damage and theft, with officers responding to various locations throughout Circleville.
On December 28, police issued multiple traffic warnings and citations, including for a burglary in progress on Sunshine Street, where a citation was issued. There were also reports of domestic troubles and disturbances throughout the day, with some incidents resolved without further action.
The following day, December 29, police continued to address various calls, including a noise complaint and several instances of suspicious persons. Officers responded to two reports of intoxicated individuals, one of which resulted in a report being filed. There were also non-injury accidents reported on Nicholas Drive and Edgewood Drive.
In a notable incident, a breaking and entering case on South Washington Street has been referred to another agency for further investigation. Police are continuing to monitor local safety and respond to community concerns as they arise.
