Circleville Police Report Highlights Series of Incidents on October 30

On October 30, 2024, the Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of calls throughout the city, including accidents, disturbances, and thefts.

The day began with extra patrols on North Court Street around 1:37 AM, which were deemed unnecessary after checks were completed. Shortly after, an alarm drop was reported on West Main Street at 2:33 AM, but officers found everything secure.

A significant incident occurred later in the morning when police responded to an injury accident on West Main Street at 7:38 AM. A report was taken to document the details of the incident. Just a few hours later, at 10:51 AM, another property damage accident was reported on the same street.

Midday, police were called to South Court Street for a disturbance, and a report was filed. Meanwhile, officers also dealt with a warrant situation and a theft reported on East Franklin Street, both of which led to further investigation.

In a concerning moment, police responded to a theft in progress on US 23 South at approximately 2:35 PM, resulting in an arrest. Other incidents included a juvenile complaint on Remle Road and an unruly juvenile on Maplewood Avenue, both of which were documented.

Later in the afternoon, officers handled a variety of 911 calls, including accidental dials and hang-ups. A drunk driver was arrested on North Washington Street around 5:19 PM, adding to the day’s series of law enforcement activities.

Police also responded to minor traffic offenses, fire complaints, and civil issues throughout the day, including an accident (non-injury) reported on South Court Street at 8:14 PM.

Overall, the Circleville Police Department logged 30 incidents on October 30, addressing a wide range of public safety concerns.
