CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents over the Christmas holiday week, including domestic disputes, thefts, and traffic violations.
On December 20, officers dealt with multiple domestic disturbances, starting with a report at 12:06 a.m. on South Pickaway Street, followed by another on Pontious Lane later in the morning. A property damage report was also taken on East Main Street at 7:55 a.m. In a series of traffic stops throughout the day, officers issued multiple warnings and citations, including a notable stop on Edison Avenue that resulted in a citation at 7:07 p.m.
On December 21, police responded to a burglary report at 2:43 a.m. on Bolens Avenue and addressed several traffic violations, issuing citations and warnings. Notably, officers handled a domestic trouble incident on East Union Street at 5:18 p.m.
The following day, December 22, police continued to investigate reports of theft and disturbances. A fight was reported on West Water Street at 7:06 p.m. Officers also handled a noise complaint and several 911 hang-ups throughout the day, confirming that the calls were accidental.
As the week progressed into December 23, a burglary in progress was reported at 1:53 a.m. on Highland Avenue, and an assault led to an arrest on North Court Street later that day. Additionally, multiple traffic offenses were documented, including a hit-skip accident on West Mound Street.
On Christmas Eve, December 24, police responded to a breaking and entering incident at 6:39 p.m. on South Pickaway Street and issued warnings during several traffic stops throughout the evening.
Finally, on December 25, police dealt with various incidents including a domestic trouble case on Third Avenue at 11:28 a.m. and theft reports from Springhollow Road and Renick Avenue. Officers conducted multiple well-being checks throughout the day and handled 911 hang-ups, confirming most were accidental.
