On October 10, 2024, the Circleville Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout the city, with a total of 31 calls logged.

The night began with multiple reports of suspicious individuals on East Union and US 23, both of which were unable to be located by officers upon arrival. Shortly after, a traffic stop resulted in a citation being issued at 12:47 AM.

Alarm drops were reported at several locations, including Walnut Creek Pike and US 23, with the latter being checked and confirmed safe. A report was taken regarding a suspicious person on Avon Drive at 4:38 AM, and another alarm drop on East Corwin Street at 6:18 AM also warranted a report.

Traffic stops continued throughout the morning, with one resulting in a warning at 7:44 AM. Officers responded to various complaints, including a railroad issue on West Mound Street and a civil problem on South Court Street, though no reports were taken for these incidents.

In the afternoon, a theft was reported on Lancaster Pike, along with a hit-skip accident at the same location. Property damage was reported on Villa Drive, and domestic troubles were addressed on East Franklin Street, leading to a report being filed.

Other incidents included an animal call on Montclair Avenue, which was handled by another agency, and a disabled vehicle that was gone upon arrival on South Court Street.

Officers also attended to multiple complaints involving noise, parking, and harassment, gathering information where necessary. A well-being check was conducted on East Union Street, confirming the individual was okay.

Throughout the evening, officer standbys were noted on South Pickaway Street, while other reports, including a repossession of a vehicle and a noise complaint, resulted in officers being unable to locate the incidents.
