Circleville, OH — The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents on September 18, 2024, ranging from traffic violations to domestic disturbances.

At midnight, officers checked on a reported warrant on Logan Street but found no one at the scene. Shortly after, a parking complaint was addressed on West Mound Street, resulting in no further action.

Throughout the morning, officers dealt with multiple cases of threats and harassment on Half Avenue and East Franklin Street, though no reports were taken in most instances. A civil process paper was served on Harrison Street, and found property was reported on Morris Road.

The police also responded to several animal calls and miscellaneous complaints, with some resulting in reports taken. Notably, two separate domestic troubles were reported on East Franklin Street, both leading to further documentation.

In the afternoon, officers issued warnings for traffic violations on South Court Street and responded to complaints regarding dirt bikes and ATVs, though some complaints went unresolved as the parties had left the area.

The evening saw an increase in activity, including a non-injury accident on North Court Street that resulted in a citation. A theft incident on South Court Street led to an arrest, while officers checked on a suspicious person on South Washington Street, confirming everything was in order.

The department continues to monitor community safety and respond to various incidents as they arise. In total, officers handled 38 records of incidents throughout the day.
