Circleville, OH – November 20, 2024 – The Circleville Police Department responded to a range of incidents throughout the city on November 19, 2024. The following is a summary of notable events:
- Animal Calls & Welfare Checks: Officers responded to several animal-related calls, including one on Pontious Rd at 8:18 AM, which was referred to another agency. Another animal-related incident occurred on E Ohio St later in the day, which resulted in a report being taken. Officers also conducted a well-being check on S Court St at 8:41 AM, but the call was canceled before they arrived at the scene.
- Traffic Stops & Traffic Accidents: Police conducted several traffic stops throughout the day, including one on Markley Rd at 9:16 AM, resulting in a report. Another traffic stop on Lancaster Pike at 6:17 PM led to a warning being issued. Officers also responded to two injury accidents on S Court St at 6:35 PM, where reports were taken and information was gathered.
- Domestic & Criminal Activity: A domestic disturbance was reported on S Scioto St at 10:23 AM, and a burglary in progress was reported on Springhollow Rd at 12:14 PM. Both incidents were investigated, with reports filed. Police also responded to a theft call on US 23 S at 7:17 PM and took a report.
- Property & Alarm Responses: Officers responded to multiple alarms throughout the day, including a fire alarm on Lancaster Pike at 3:02 PM, which resulted in squad transport to the hospital. An open door was reported on S Washington St at 8:33 PM, which was checked and found to be secure. Officers also responded to several alarm drops on E Main St, including one at 1:32 PM and another at 11:56 PM, both of which were checked and cleared.
- Other Incidents: Officers were dispatched to investigate a noise complaint on E Mound St at 11:42 PM, which was cleared. A repossession of a vehicle was reported on Logan St at 3:20 PM, with information gathered.
