CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Circleville Police responded to a busy 24-hour period on April 24, 2025, with a total of 35 calls for service ranging from warrant arrests to fraud, domestic incidents, and vehicle accidents across the city.

In the early morning hours, officers made multiple warrant arrests — one on U.S. Route 23 at 2:23 a.m. and another on South Court Street at 4:12 a.m. Earlier, a third warrant-related call on Maplewood Avenue was resolved without arrest.

Throughout the day, police handled various incidents, including a theft report on Goodchild Service Road, threats and harassment on East Mound Street and South Court Street, and a juvenile-related complaint also on East Mound.

A domestic dispute was reported just before noon on South Court Street, shortly followed by a 911 hang-up call in the same area. Officers also investigated two separate trespassing complaints in the late afternoon, one on Lancaster Pike and another on South Court Street.

Motor vehicle incidents included two non-injury crashes, one of which was a hit-skip on Clark Drive around 6:18 p.m. A third accident on Lancaster Pike at 9:13 p.m. resulted in a citation.

Later in the evening, authorities addressed a series of disturbances and well-being checks, including a fight reported on South Washington Street at 9:53 p.m. and an assault on East Franklin Street at 10:13 p.m.

Several calls, such as suspicious circumstances, parking complaints, and well-being checks, were cleared after officers were either unable to locate involved parties or confirmed no immediate issues.

Circleville Police continue to encourage residents to report suspicious or unsafe activity and remain vigilant in supporting public safety throughout the community.
