
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Circleville Police had a steady stream of calls on Monday, April 21, responding to a wide variety of incidents throughout the city.
Early in the morning, officers were dispatched to North Court Street following reports of a suspicious person, but the individual had left the area before police arrived. Later that morning, a case of property damage was reported on Duroc Street, though it is now being handled by another agency.
Theft was reported on Stihl Avenue, and a burglary incident was documented on South Pickaway Street just after 10 a.m. A fraud case on the same street was also reported minutes later. Police responded to two probation-related complaints, one on Logan Street and another on South Court Street, with only the latter resulting in a report.
Throughout the day, police addressed incidents involving harassment on Turner Drive, a juvenile complaint on South Court Street, and a traffic obstruction on West Mill Street. All were resolved without major incident.
A well-being check on Pleasant Street and a fire call on Rustic Court both turned out to be non-emergencies. In the evening, officers issued a citation during a traffic stop on South Court Street and responded to multiple traffic stops, with warnings issued on U.S. Route 23 and Main Street.
Additionally, police served civil paperwork on Bolens Avenue, responded to a non-injury accident on Island Road, and investigated an alarm drop on East Corwin Street, which was found to be secure.
In total, Circleville officers handled 19 incidents on April 21, continuing their commitment to community safety and quick response.
