Circleville Police Respond to Multiple Incidents, Issue Citations

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents on February 26, 2025, including trespassing, traffic stops, fraud reports, and violations of protection orders. Officers also conducted extra patrols throughout the city to ensure public safety.

Key Incidents:

  • Trespassing: Officers took a report after responding to a trespassing complaint at 12:39 a.m.
  • Traffic Stops: Several stops were conducted on South Pickaway Street, U.S. 23, and South Washington Street, resulting in warnings and citations.
  • Disturbance: Officers were dispatched to Lancaster Pike but were unable to locate the individuals involved.
  • Fraud Investigation: A fraud report was filed on Avon Drive.
  • Breaking & Entering: A report was taken following an incident on Edison Avenue at 8:59 p.m.
  • Violation of Protection Order: Officers responded to Ridgewood Drive, where a report was taken.
  • Dirt Bike/ATV Complaints: Multiple calls regarding unauthorized dirt bike and ATV activity were received, but suspects were gone upon arrival.
  • Warrants: Officers attempted to serve warrants on Logan Street and South Court Street but were unable to locate the individuals.

Despite several reports of suspicious persons and noise complaints, some calls were cleared with no reports taken. The department continues to remain vigilant in patrolling the community and responding to public safety concerns.
