
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department handled a variety of calls on April 2, 2025, including domestic disputes, accidents, and suspicious activity. Below is a summary of key incidents reported throughout the day.
Alarms and Well-Being Checks
Police responded to two alarm drops—one on E Main St. at 12:53 a.m. and another on Rustic Dr. at 6:51 a.m.—both of which were found to be false alarms. Officers also conducted well-being checks on Watt St. at 9:26 a.m., where the individual was gone upon arrival, and on N Court St. at 1:30 p.m., which was cleared with no concerns.
Domestic Incidents and Disturbances
A report was taken for a domestic dispute on Plaza Dr. at 3:02 a.m., with another similar call occurring on Tower Ct. at 5:58 p.m.. Officers also responded to disturbances on W Main St. at 12:33 p.m. and 3rd Ave. at 10:22 p.m., but no reports were filed.
Accidents and Roadway Issues
Throughout the day, officers responded to multiple accidents, including:
- Non-injury crash on Watt St. at 12:02 p.m. (Report taken)
- Injury accidents on Stoutsville Pike at 1:01 p.m. and S Pickaway St. at 1:05 p.m. (Reports taken)
- Non-injury crash on N Court St. at 3:22 p.m. (Report taken)
Additionally, a traffic jam on W Water St. at 11:02 a.m. did not require a report.
Crime Reports
- Breaking & entering on E Mill St. at 11:55 a.m. (Report taken)

Juvenile Complaints
Police responded to unruly juvenile complaints on Barry Dr. at 5:55 p.m. and again at 8:57 p.m., but no reports were filed. A juvenile complaint on Town St. at 6:22 p.m. was canceled before officers arrived.
Suspicious Activity
Officers investigated reports of a suspicious person on S Pickaway St. at 3:48 p.m. and a suspicious vehicle on Lancaster Pike at 6:13 p.m., both of which resulted in reports being filed.
911 Calls and Miscellaneous Reports
Several 911 hang-ups were investigated on Lancaster Pike at 10:16 a.m., US 23 S at 12:19 p.m., and Lancaster Pike at 7:52 p.m., all of which were accidental. A miscellaneous complaint on S Court St. at 8:45 a.m. and a property release on E Franklin St. at 3:06 p.m. and 3:51 p.m. were also handled by officers.
