Circleville Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on February 18

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of calls on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, including alarm drops, traffic stops, accidents, and other public safety matters.

🔹 Traffic Stops & Patrols: Officers conducted multiple traffic stops throughout the day, issuing several warnings and one citation on S. Pickaway St. Authorities also carried out extra patrols across various locations, including Main St., US 23, and Franklin St., ensuring public safety.

🔹 Criminal & Suspicious Activity:

A theft was reported on US 23 S, with officers taking a report.
A trespassing incident on US 23 also required police intervention.
Officers responded to suspicious circumstances on E. Main St., but the subject was gone on arrival.
🔹 Accidents & Emergency Calls:

Two non-injury accidents were reported, one on Lancaster Pike and another on E. Union St., resulting in a citation.
Fire & EMS calls included a fire response on State Route 104 and two alarm drops on E. Mill St., handled on scene.
🔹 Miscellaneous Reports:

Officers responded to a juvenile complaint on E. Franklin St., a fraud report on Pontious Ln., and a probation complaint on E. Franklin St.
A well-being check on Hayes Ct. was found to be okay upon arrival.
A 911 hang-up on S. Pickaway St. was also investigated and determined to be okay.
In total, 45 incidents were recorded throughout the day. The Circleville Police Department reminds residents to report suspicious activity and emergencies promptly.
