
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to 22 calls for service on February 24, 2025, handling a variety of incidents ranging from domestic disputes and theft to traffic stops and fire department complaints.
Among the notable reports:
- Domestic Disputes: Officers responded to reports of domestic trouble on Villa Drive (3:28 p.m.) and Kingston Court (9:50 p.m.), with reports taken in both cases.
- Theft: A theft report was taken on U.S. 23 South at 6:49 p.m.
- Hit-and-Run Accident: A hit-skip accident with no injuries was reported on East Franklin Street at 3:43 p.m.
- Trespassing: A trespassing complaint on Lancaster Pike at 9:42 p.m. resulted in a report being filed.
- Warrant Searches: Officers attempted to serve multiple warrants throughout the evening, but all suspects were gone on arrival (GOA)/unable to locate (UATL) at locations including South Pickaway Street (5:21 p.m.), Villa Drive (6:16 p.m.), and Sumpter Avenue (8:30 p.m.).
- Traffic Stops: Several traffic stops were conducted, resulting in four warnings issued and one citation on South Pickaway Street at 9:27 p.m.
Other incidents included fire department complaints, 911 accidental calls, an alarm drop, and extra patrol requests.
