CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to 28 calls for service on February 5, 2025, addressing a range of incidents from traffic stops to theft reports and well-being checks across the city.

Key Incidents:

  • Theft Report: Officers took a theft report at 8:56 a.m. on Fairview Blvd., with details yet to be disclosed.
  • Neighbor Trouble: A neighbor dispute on E. Ohio St. was reported at 8:52 a.m., leading to an official report being filed.
  • Property Damage: Authorities responded to a property damage incident on Main St. at 8:16 a.m., gathering information.
  • Domestic Trouble: Officers were called to Springhollow Rd. at 6:45 p.m. for a report of domestic trouble, though no official report was taken.
  • Parking Complaints: Multiple parking complaints were reported, including on E. Ohio St. (10:31 a.m.) and N. Pickaway St. (5:15 p.m.), though officers were unable to locate the issues in some cases.

Traffic and Patrols:

  • Traffic Stops: Officers conducted several traffic stops, issuing warnings on S. Court St. (2:04 a.m.), S. Pickaway St. (4:04 a.m.), and W. High St. (9:00 a.m.)
  • Extra Patrols: Increased patrols were conducted on S. Pickaway St., W. Main St., N. Court St., and Lancaster Pike, with all locations reported as checked okay.

Emergency Response & Other Calls:

  • A fire/EMS alarm drop on U.S. 23 at 1:40 a.m. was investigated and found to be clear.
  • Officers conducted well-being checks at multiple locations, including Lancaster Pike, Stihl Ave., and U.S. 22 W, ensuring public safety.
  • Two vehicle repossessions were recorded on S. Scioto St. (3:43 a.m.) and S. Pickaway St. (11:50 p.m.), with authorities obtaining necessary information.
