Circleville Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on March 12

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents across the city on March 12, 2025, ranging from traffic stops to reports of vandalism and theft.

The day’s activity began shortly after 1 a.m. with a traffic stop on Kingston Pike, resulting in a warning issued. Officers also conducted extra patrols on South Court Street, West Main Street, and North Court Street during the early morning hours, all of which checked out okay.

An alarm drop on East Main Street at 5:19 a.m. was also investigated and determined to be a false alarm. Later in the morning, officers responded to multiple civil process paper service attempts, with some successfully served and others resulting in “Gone on Arrival” or “Unable to Locate” dispositions.

One notable incident involved an unruly juvenile on North Court Street, which led to a report being taken. Police also responded to a disabled vehicle on North Pickaway Street, resolving the situation without issue.

In the afternoon, authorities received reports of suspected drunk drivers on West Franklin Street and West Main Street. While information was obtained in one case, the second driver was gone on arrival.

Additional calls included a dirt bike/ATV complaint on Edgewood Drive, a threats/harassment case on Sycamore Drive that resulted in no report, and a theft report on South Court Street later in the evening. Officers also took a vandalism report on Wedgewood Court.

Throughout the day, officers checked multiple alarm drops, all of which were determined to be false alarms. A 911 hang-up call on U.S. Route 23 was investigated and checked out okay.
