Animal Calls and Well-Being Checks
Officers responded to several animal-related calls and well-being checks, including on East Mill Street, South Court Street, and Stella Avenue, where all calls were resolved without further incident.
Traffic Stops and Warnings
Numerous traffic stops were conducted throughout the weekend, with officers issuing several warnings and a citation. Notable stops included those on East Main Street, North Court Street, and Watt Street. Additionally, officers stopped a vehicle on U.S. Route 23, which led to the discovery of a stolen vehicle.
Domestic Disturbances
Several domestic-related incidents were reported, including on Logan Street, West High Street, and North Court Street. One case on West High Street resulted in a report being filed, while others were resolved without further action or continued investigation.
Thefts and Fraud
The department received multiple reports of theft and fraud. A theft on U.S. Route 23 South was reported at 5:18 PM on March 22, and officers are continuing their investigation. A fraud complaint was also lodged on Dunkel Road on March 21, although no report was filed.
Accidents and Traffic Incidents
Multiple non-injury accidents were reported on streets such as East Main Street, North Court Street, and Kingston Pike. A more serious injury accident on North Pickaway Street occurred on March 22, with the injured party being transported to the hospital.
Arrests and Warrants
On March 22, officers made an arrest after responding to a warrant complaint on Logan Street. The individual was taken into custody, and the case was resolved. Another warrant was located on South Court Street, but the suspect was gone on arrival.
Miscellaneous Calls
Officers also responded to miscellaneous complaints, including disturbances on Harrison Avenue and Linden Lane, as well as a report of harassment on Pleasant Street. The situation on Linden Lane was resolved without incident.
