Circleville Police Respond to Variety of Incidents Over Weekend

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – The Circleville Police Department was busy over the weekend, responding to numerous calls ranging from theft and traffic stops to domestic disturbances and well-being checks.

Among the notable incidents, officers responded to reports of theft on Stihl Avenue, East Main Street, and West Huston Street, where reports were taken. A breaking and entering incident on Logan Street was also documented.

Several warrant-related calls were handled, including arrests made on Logan Street and Renick Avenue, while other attempts resulted in suspects being gone on arrival.

Domestic disturbances kept officers occupied, with incidents reported on U.S. Route 23, Mace Drive, Watt Street, and Brookhaven Place. Some cases resulted in reports being filed, while others were resolved without further action.

Traffic enforcement was also active, with multiple stops leading to citations or warnings issued on roads such as South Pickaway Street, U.S. Route 23, and Logan Street. A drunk driving arrest was made on North Pickaway Street late Saturday night.

Police also conducted well-being checks throughout the city, ensuring the safety of individuals on Lancaster Pike, Turner Drive, and South Court Street. Some checks were resolved without incident, while others led to reports being filed or involvement from other agencies.

Officers were called to disturbances on Walnut Street and South Washington Street, with some cases classified as civil matters. Juvenile complaints were also reported in several areas, including Clark Drive, Nicholas Drive, and Third Avenue, with officers taking reports or obtaining information.

Additionally, multiple business checks were conducted to ensure security, and extra patrols were performed on Sycamore Drive and Edgewood Drive.
