
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to a range of incidents on February 27, 2025, including traffic stops, well-being checks, and reports of fraud, vandalism, and domestic trouble.
Throughout the day, officers conducted several extra patrols and business checks across the city, all of which were found to be in order. Traffic stops resulted in multiple warnings and citations, including stops on Clark Drive, Northridge Road, Edgewood Drive, and South Court Street.
A fraud report was taken on Avon Drive, while another fraud-related call on North Court Street did not result in a report. Officers responded to littering on North Pickaway Street, but no report was filed.
There were multiple juvenile-related calls, including an unruly juvenile report on South Court Street, a juvenile complaint on Town Street, and a separate juvenile-related call with suspicious circumstances on South Court Street later in the night.
Domestic trouble was reported twice, once on North Washington Street, where a report was taken, and later on East Franklin Street, where the situation was checked and found to be okay.
Vandalism was reported on East Franklin Street, and officers also investigated a well-being check on East High Street, both of which resulted in reports.
Officers responded to reports of suspicious persons and vehicles, including incidents on Lancaster Pike and South Western Avenue. Some individuals were gone on arrival, while others were checked and found to be okay.
An emergency alarm drop on Edison Avenue was investigated and deemed secure, while a fire alarm call on Atwater Avenue was handled on the scene without transport.
