Circleville Police Respond to Various Incidents on January 23, 2025

Circleville, OH – The Circleville Police Department (CPD) responded to numerous calls on January 23, 2025, addressing a variety of incidents throughout the city. Below are some of the notable events from that day:

  • Warrant and Suspicious Activity: Early in the morning, at 12:49 a.m., officers responded to E. Mound St. regarding a warrant, but the suspect was unable to be located. Around 2:26 a.m., police escorted a suspicious person on S. Court St. and the situation was resolved.
  • Alarm Drops and Juvenile Complaint: CPD responded to several alarm drop incidents, including one at 8:02 a.m. on W. Main St., where a report was taken. Officers also investigated a juvenile complaint at 8:38 a.m. on N. Court St.
  • Traffic Stops and Civil Process: Throughout the day, officers conducted several traffic stops, issuing warnings and citations. Notably, at 9:29 a.m., a warning was issued on Lancaster Pike, and a citation was issued for a traffic stop at 5:00 p.m. on U.S. 23. Civil process papers were also served on N. Court St. and Linden Ln. later in the afternoon.
  • Domestic Trouble and Probation Complaint: At 2:15 p.m., police responded to a report of domestic trouble on Watt St., but no report was taken. A probation complaint was reported at 3:24 p.m. on E. Franklin St., and a report was filed.
  • Property Release and Mutual Aid: At 4:46 p.m., CPD assisted with a property release on E. Franklin St. Around 5:19 p.m., a fire department mutual aid request was made for Pittsburgh Rd., and the situation was cleared.
  • Late Night Activity: In the evening, CPD continued to address traffic and civil-related matters. Several traffic stops were made, with warnings issued on S. Court St. at 9:23 p.m., Atwater Ave. at 10:15 p.m., and E. Ohio St. at 10:30 p.m. A disturbance was reported at 10:15 p.m. on S. Court St. but was later resolved.
