
Circleville, OH – On March 25, 2025, the Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents across the city, including thefts, traffic violations, and well-being checks.
The day started early with a well-being check on Villa Drive at 12:31 a.m., which was resolved without issue. Other calls included several 911 hang-ups, an accidental 911 call on Sumpter Avenue, and reports of trespassing at multiple locations, including Lincoln Avenue and Lancaster Pike, where investigations were initiated.
A theft was reported on Hayward Street at 5:13 a.m., and property damage was noted on Atwater Avenue later that morning. Several traffic stops occurred throughout the day, with multiple warnings issued to drivers on East Ohio Street, South Pickaway Street, and North Pickaway Street. One citation was issued on North Pickaway Street.
Additional notable incidents included a civil issue on East Franklin Street, a fire alarm at East Mill Street that was contained quickly, and another theft reported on Logan Street at 6:28 p.m. In response to these reports, officers conducted multiple well-being checks and followed up on suspicious circumstances.
Later in the evening, police received reports of disturbances and suspicious individuals, including a report of a suspicious person on Atwater Avenue, which was investigated but the individual was not located.
The department continues to monitor the situation and urges residents to report any suspicious activity to help ensure community safety.
