CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents between February 7 and February 9, 2025, including domestic disturbances, thefts, traffic violations, and suspicious activity.
February 7, 2025:
- Early morning patrols included a vehicle repossession on Lancaster Pike and multiple traffic stops on S. Court Street and S. Pickaway Street, with some drivers receiving warnings and others citations.
- Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on S. Washington Street just after 2:30 AM, taking a report on the incident.
- Extra patrols were conducted throughout the city, with all locations checking okay.
- In the afternoon, officers investigated a theft on E. Ohio Street and responded to threats/harassment on Norfolk Avenue, both resulting in official reports.
- The evening hours saw multiple traffic stops and 911 hang-ups, all checked and cleared.
- A non-injury accident on Clinton Street and a personal injury case on E. Franklin Street also required police response.
February 8, 2025:
- The day began with a domestic trouble call on S. Court Street, with officers taking a report.
- Officers conducted extra patrols and business checks while handling numerous traffic stops. Some drivers were issued citations, while others received warnings.
- A fire/EMS alarm drop on Lancaster Pike resulted in a transport to the hospital.
- Reports were taken for a disturbance on E. Franklin Street and a threats/harassment complaint on the same street later in the day.
- Officers also handled a stolen vehicle report on E. Franklin Street, though no report was taken.
February 9, 2025:
- Police responded to a vandalism report on Garden Parkway early in the morning.
- A well-being check on Pontious Lane resulted in a report being filed.
- A found property case on US 23 was documented.
- Officers investigated a theft on N. Pickaway Street and multiple juvenile complaints on E. Ohio Street, gathering information.
- A non-injury accident on E. Ohio Street required police intervention in the evening.
- The night concluded with officers responding to reports of suspicious persons on Lancaster Pike and E. Franklin Street, with one case cleared upon arrival and another unable to be located.
