Circleville High School – On Friday, Circleville High School senior Meghan Davis signed on to further her academic and athletic career at John Carroll University where she will study Criminology and play basketball for the Blue Streaks.
“I felt at home with the coaches and players at John Carroll and after visiting campus I fell in love,” said Davis. “I felt the criminology department could offer me what I needed to be successful. JCU offers an Army ROTC program that I will be doing as well allowing me to follow both of my dreams in pursuit of a military and college basketball career.”
Davis is the proud daughter of Gail (John) Noble and JR (Tami) Davis of Circleville. Also in attendance today for Davis’ signing day ceremony were grandparents and siblings (Cody, Trace, Brayden, Ashley, and Jacob.
During her Circleville career, Davis has been named 2nd-Team all-Mid-State League, Honorable Mention all-Distrct, and 1st-Team all-County (Circleville Herald) and has been coached by Circleville High School girls basketball head coach Steve Kalinoski and assistant coaches Evan Callihan and Jillian McFarlan.
