Closing in Delays in Southern Ohio

Southern Ohio – A majority of the counties in Southern Ohio are sitting deep in snow, and Sheriffs around the area have put the counties on a level 3 making it illegal for you to leave your home unless it is an emergency

Heres a list of counties that have pushed to level 3 this morning. According to Ohio code: ALL ROADWAYS ARE CLOSED to non-emergency traffic. No one should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. All persons should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. THOSE TRAVELING ON THE ROADWAYS MAY SUBJECT THEMSELVES TO ARREST.

Pike County

Scioto County

Highland County

Ross County

Athens County

Hocking County

Pickaway County

Fairfield County

Hocking County

Jackson County

Vinton County

Lawrence County

Fayette County

Along with these counties being closed due to the level three so aren’t most offices and schools in these counties. Some employees of stores may not go to work this morning also so if you have to go out call first to make sure the store or agency you have to visit this morning is actually open.

Pickaway County ESC will be closed Monday, January 6, 2025 due to inclement weather.

Pickaway County YMCA will be closed

PICCA (Pickaway County Community Action) will be closed today

Chillicothe Goodwill Day Care will be Closed on Monday.

The City of Circleville Administration Offices will be closed on Monday, January 6.

The Ross County Veterans Service Office will be closed.
