Pickaway County is set to host an unforgettable night of comedy as Bobby Henline, a retired Army Staff Sergeant and burn survivor, takes the stage at AMVETS, 818 Tarlton Road, Circleville, on April 25, 2025. Known as “The Well Done Comedian,” Henline transforms personal tragedy into humor, offering audiences a raw and hilarious look at life after surviving a devastating roadside bomb attack during his fourth tour in Iraq.
Henline, who sustained burns over 38% of his body, spent three years in recovery and used his dark sense of humor to cope with his injuries. Now, he travels the country and the world, performing in comedy clubs and for troops overseas. His unique storytelling and fearless comedy have earned him spots on Comedy Central, NBC, HBO, and ABC, as well as features in Time Magazine and the Showtime documentary “Comedy Warriors.” Fans of Shameless may also recognize him from his role as Pyro Paulie.

The upcoming event is part of a fundraiser for Forging Forward: The Bobby Henline Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors through healing programs and community support. Hosted by local Tim Fouch and featuring comedian Carlin Hagerty, the show promises an evening of laughter while supporting an important cause.
Tickets are $20, with food, drinks, and free parking available. The show starts at 7 PM, and attendees must be 18 or older to enter.
