CRIME REPORT – Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents Across the City

Chillicothe, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout the day on July 13th, 2024, involving a range of offenses from traffic violations to serious crimes.

The day began with a traffic stop at 12:03 am on N Watt St, where officers discovered an expired plate, a failed display of plates, and driving under suspension (DUS). The patrol continued with another traffic stop at 12:30 am on E Main St for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

At 1:13 am, officers observed a black truck on E 8th St without functioning taillights and subsequently stopped the vehicle near the intersection of E 8th St and S Hickory St. The driver, identified as Tyler Scott Bethel Estep, admitted to not having a valid driver’s license.

A more serious incident occurred at 1:54 am on S Renick Ave when a traffic stop revealed possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and driving without a valid license.

Later in the morning, at 5:06 am, officers responded to an active burglary report at 604 E 5th Street.

Other incidents included a domestic violence case reported at 5:54 am on E Water St, and a telecommunications harassment complaint at 1:20 pm on N Mulberry St, which remains under investigation.

At 1:36 pm on Consumer Center Dr, officers encountered Angela K Graves, who was found trespassing on city property despite being barred from all City of Chillicothe Parks and Recreation areas.

Later in the afternoon, at 4:24 pm, officers responded to a report of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor at 28 N Paint St.

At 5:12 pm, Athena Rdabaugh was arrested at Dollar General on E Main St for an outstanding warrant.

The day concluded with a missing person report at 7:14 pm on Cedarwood Dr, where officers conducted a search for a male with dementia who had not returned from a walk. The male was entered into the LEADS system as missing.

At 8:45 pm on River Trace Ln, officers made an arrest for criminal trespassing.

The day wrapped up with incidents involving animals, including a report of dogs running at large at 8:32 pm on W 5th St, and a hit-and-run accident reported at 11:50 pm on N Walnut St.
