The Teays Valley Educational Foundation has once again fully funded the D.A.R.E. program at all of the Teays Valley elementary schools. D.A.R.E. is a series of classroom lessons for fifth grade students that teach them how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives. It is led by Deputy Dale Thomas.
“We are grateful to the Foundation for their continued support of this program and many others in the district. D.A.R.E. is such a positive and impactful program for our students. We appreciate that the Foundation recognizes how important it is for our students,” elementary principal Greg Kovack said.
