JACKSON – Jackson county sheriff’s office is reporting that they are investigating a death of a man found in a car.
According to the Sheriff Department on September 13, 2021 at approximately 8:07 P. M., an officer from the Oak Hill Police Department received a report of an unresponsive male located in a vehicle on the parking lot of McDonalds, 197 North Jackson Street Oak Hill, OHJackson County EMS and Madison Jefferson Fire Fighters also responded to the scene on the report of an unresponsive male.Once arriving on scene, it was determined that the male subject was deceased in the vehicle.
Authorities have identified the male as 39-year-old, Johnnie Edwards of Oak Hill.“At this time no other details, nor a possible cause of death are being released,” said Oak Hill Police Chief David P. Ward.
