PICKAWAY – Young Eagles were seen today out playing in the sunshine at Pickaway Deer Creek dam
Photos were posted by the US Army Corps of Engineers today showing seven juvenile Eagles playing around the Dam and the lake.
These eagles are not this year’s babies, but a few years past. It takes around four years for eagles to get their full white head color, but it shows how fast the Eagle population is growing in Ohio.
Adult Eagles normally mate and nest around December to January and lay eggs in February, those babies will join these young adults around mid-summer in the sky.
