OIHO – Gov. Dewine said during press conference on tuesday that he doesn’t mind protests against him, but anti-semitic views have no place in the argument.

Two protestors out of hundreds in the protest against stay-at-home orders carried a sign that depicted a rodent with The Star of David. The sign said, “The Real Plague.”

“That’s wrong, and I think everyone has an obligation to denounce it,” Dewine said when asked during the news conference.

On Dewines Twitter feed he went further by saying, “It was disgusting. It was vile, It should have no place in this discussion or any other public discussion.”

Protesters came in all shapes and sizes on the weekend, some people used their cars and placed signs on the sides of them blowing horns protesting the stay-at-home order keeping safe distance from each other, and other who blatantly broke safe distance orders and protested without PPE.

“People have the right to protest,” DeWine said, “If they’re carrying anti-Mike DeWine signs, they’ve got a right to do that.”

Jon Hosted posted the photo of the two people that were in question yesterday.
