Donald Eugene Daniel, 45, of Chillicothe, known to all of us as “Don Don”, went home to be with the Lord 9:19 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Floyd Simantel Clinic following a brief illness.
He was born August 16, 1977, in Chillicothe, to Donald E. Brust and Ursula Sue Keller Daniel.
Surviving are his mother, Ursula “Sue” (fiance, Terry Cook) Keller, of Chillicothe; brothers and sisters, George (Shay) Daniel, Gladys (Danny) Howard, Lavada Brust, Ronald (Crystal) Brust, Paul (Rebecca) Tilton, Candace (Scott) Smith and Susan (Richard) White, all of Chillicothe; a special sister-in-law, Teressa Brust; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephews, Carl and Heidi Brust, Joshua Smith and Cloressa “Sissy” Brust; and numerous friends, including Justin Stotridge, Stanley Smith, Ricky Lowry and Troy and Debbie whom he considered family. He was predeceased by his dad, Donald E. Brust; brothers, Michael Brust and Donald Brust, Jr.; and a sister, Martha Wilson.
Don Don loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He was an avid lover of bicycles, which he referred to as his “Huffy Davidsons”. Don Don lit up a room with his infectious personality and his love for life. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staffs at the Floyd Simantel Clinic, Adena Cancer Center and The James for all the extreme kindness and for the care of our beloved Don Don. He was truly one of a kind.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Larry Leasure officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
