Dorothy Mae “Dottie” Stoll, age 89, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 in Bradenton, Florida while under hospice care.Born on September 5, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Raymond and Edith Anderson. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lois Willis and Shirley Sams, and her brother David Anderson.She married her loving husband, Harley Floyd Stoll in 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1998 after 50 years of marriage. They moved to their home in Grove City, Ohio in 1956, where she continued living until 2010, at which time she moved to Bradenton, Florida.
She was a longtime member of Avondale United Methodist Church in Columbus, and was actively devoted to her church and church family. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is survived by her son Michael (Barbara) Stoll of Bradenton, Florida, and daughter Patricia (Kevin) Flaherty, of Cranberry Twp., Pennsylvania; grandchildren Jacob (Nicole) Stoll, Ethan (Vinaya) Stoll, Ryan (Carrie) Markey, Tabitha (Jordan) McCleery and Jennifer Markey; great-grandchildren Avery, Anna, AJ, Ax, Liam and Owen; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, September 20th at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus St. Grove City, Ohio, where funeral will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 21.
