CHILLICOTHE — Families across Ross County will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate Easter this April, with egg hunts, special events, and visits from the Easter Bunny happening throughout the area.
With Easter falling on April 20 this year, local organizations and churches are planning fun-filled gatherings for children and families. Here’s a look at some of the upcoming Easter events:
Great City Church

📅 April 19, 10 a.m.
Children from infancy through fifth grade are invited to participate in the church’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. Registration is required for this event.
Serenity Wellness Center
📍 637 Central Center, Chillicothe
📅 April 12, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
This community Easter event offers free Easter baskets, hot meals to go, resource packets, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Chillicothe Day Center
📍 1855 Western Ave., Chillicothe
📅 April 5, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Families can meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy vendor booths, take part in an Easter egg hunt, and get their faces painted.
Beulah Chapel
📍 585 Chester Hill Road, Chillicothe
📅 April 18, 2 p.m.
This Easter egg hunt is open to children ages 12 and under, featuring over 1,000 hidden eggs, free food, and prizes.
Chillicothe & Ross County Library
📍 770 Main Street, Richmond Dale
📅 April 18, 2 – 3 p.m.
The Richmond Dale branch will host an “EGGtravagant” Easter egg hunt filled with fun and surprises for families.
