Chillicothe residents are gearing up for a refreshing start to the summer season as the city announces the highly anticipated opening of its public pool on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.
After weeks of diligent preparation by the dedicated pool team, the facility is set to welcome visitors with its revamped look and upgraded amenities.
Operating hours for the pool will be from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, and from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sundays, offering ample opportunities for residents to beat the summer heat.
For those interested in joining the pool team, applications for lifeguards and other pool staff positions are currently available for submission.
Admission rates remain affordable for all ages, with a flat fee of $6.00 per person for day visits, while children aged 2 and under enjoy complimentary entry. Please note that cash transactions are currently the only accepted form of payment at the pool.
Additionally, the city is pleased to announce the availability of pool passes for the 2024 season, offering convenience and savings for frequent visitors. Individual passes are priced at $150, while families can enjoy unlimited access for up to 5 members at a rate of $400. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the Parks and Recreation Department for pass inquiries.
In an exciting development, the pool is now offering customizable party packages, catering to both exclusive and shared experiences. For those seeking privacy, an Exclusive Pool Party option provides access to the entire pool area for $1000, ensuring an intimate gathering for hosts and guests alike. Alternatively, the Shared Pool Party option offers a reduced rate of $500, providing an opportunity to enjoy the pool while potentially mingling with other party-goers.
It is important to note that parties cannot be scheduled on Mondays or Tuesdays, and while every effort will be made to accommodate shared pool parties, there is no guarantee of availability.
