CARROLL, OH (September 2, 2024) — A lucky Ohio Lottery player hit the jackpot with a $50,000 win on the Money Maker scratch-off ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #9226, located at 6005 Winchester Road, in Carroll.
The fortunate winner, who had been in town for work, decided to stop for gas and pick up a Money Maker scratch-off. It didn’t take long for the excitement to set in.
“When I saw the ticket, I just thought, ‘there are so many numbers,’” the winner said, describing his reaction to the big win.
After deductions for federal and state taxes, the winner will receive an estimated $36,000. The winner plans to invest the prize money for future gains.
The Money Maker scratch-off costs $30 and offers a top prize of $80,000 annually for 25 years. As of August 30, there are still five top prizes available in the game.
