Fairfield County has once again secured a prestigious accolade, being named a Top Workplace for 2024 by Columbus CEO Magazine and USA Today. This marks the third consecutive year that Fairfield County has received this esteemed recognition, underscoring its commitment to fostering an outstanding work environment.
The Top Workplaces award is based on employee feedback collected through a confidential survey conducted by Energage LLC, a third-party research firm. The survey evaluates various aspects of the employee experience, including feelings of respect, support, opportunities for growth, and empowerment.
Expressing delight at the achievement, Steve Davis, Fairfield County Commissioner, stated, “We are thrilled and deeply honored to be recognized as the Top Workplace 2024 in Columbus CEO and USA Today. This prestigious award is a testament to our unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and empowerment for our employees in Fairfield County. It reaffirms our commitment to providing an exceptional workplace experience.”
The Top Workplaces USA program acknowledges organizations with 150 or more employees that have cultivated exceptional workplace cultures. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in the survey, with results benchmarked against industry standards. The assessment encompasses 15 culture drivers that are proven to predict high performance.
Commenting on the significance of the award, Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, emphasized, “Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees. That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
