
Fairfield County – The Sheriff’s Department seized a significant amount of drugs from local roadways.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies stopped a vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 33 / Tarkiln Rd. for a moving violation. The Male driver had an active warrant for his arrest. K-9 was deployed and alerted to the vehicle. Deputies seized 147 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 5 grams of heroin, and 1 gram of fentanyl.

The suspect was taken to jail and charged with possession and possible trafficking charges
