FAIRFIELD – A Thornville Man is in the hospital after accidently shooting himself.
According to the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau, Deputies respond to a Shooting incident [Thornville, Ohio, July 22, 2023] On July 22, 2023, at 6:31 pm, Deputies were dispatched to the area of Beaver Rd. and Juniper Rd., Thornville Ohio, on a report of an accidental discharge of a firearm.
It was reported that a 29-year-old male shot himself in the leg while attempting to place a firearm in his waistband. The male was transported to the hospital by Walnut Township Medics with non-life-threatening injuries.
This incident is currently being investigated by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau.
