Mar. 30, 2020
*Larceny, Galston Ct, Weapon was taken from vehicle that was unlocked.
*Injury Accident, Car hit deer and driver suffered injuries.
Mar. 31, 2020
*B+E, Logan-Lancaster Rd., Caller states his storage unit was broken into and items taken.
*Theft, Meijer’s in Lancaster. Subject released on summons.
*Theft, Alspach Rd. Victim was advised by her bank; a check was fraudulently cashed.
April 1, 2020
*Theft in Progress at Walmart in CW. Black male with dreadlocks stole a purse from a cart and fled in a gray sedan. This may be related to the DV incident that occurred later at Kroger’s in CW.
*Domestic at Kroger’s in CW. Female fled scene while calling 911 to report a DV in a gray sedan. She was chased by a black male with dreadlocks. Male was located and arrested for a DV warrant, fresh DV charges and transported to Franklin County.
*Stolen Vehicle, W. Main St., Amanda. 2009 Subaru Outback gray in color.
*We arrested Anthony Cook on 04/01/2020 at 2300 hours in New Lexington. Anthony Cook was transported to the Fairfield County Jail and he is being charged with Attempted Aggravated Murder.
April 2, 2020
*Theft, Salinger Dr., Caller states they recently moved to the listed address and used a moving company. Caller states a 5-gallon jug with loose coins in it was not on the moving truck when it arrived.
*Vandalism, Collins Rd., Caller states someone broke a window to his vehicle.
*Structure Fire, Sheldrake Ct. Radio received 911 call her house was on fire. Everyone got out.
April 3, 2020
*Vandalism, Rainbow Dr., Caller states a gate was damaged.
April 4, 2020
*DOC, Crites Rd. Stoutsville, Caller reported a suspicious person who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics in her backyard. Female was located and had multiple warrants.
*Theft, Haaf Farm, Caller states some type of medical equipment was taken from her front porch last date.
*Theft, Orwell St., Caller stated his work van was broken into last date.
*Vandalism, Faulkner Dr., Caller states his vehicle windows were broken out.
*Stolen Riding Mower, Snoke Hill Rd. John Deere X300 Mower taken within last two days.
*Criminal Damage, New Salem Rd. House struck by a .22 cal.
*Tresspassor, N. Bank Rd., Naked male came up onto the caller’s porch. Units arrived made contact and believed him to be under the influence.
*Radio advised that all ODNR officers in the region were sent to Hocking Hills to clear people out of the State Park. We did take a call for traffic issues at one of the county parks. People advised that due to the State Parks closed they were coming to the county parks for walks.
April 5, 2020
*Larceny, Jenkins Dr, CW, Caller advised they purchased a dog off craigslist thru PayPal. When the caller went to pickup to dog at an address, they found out that it was a false address.
