Chillicothe – At The US open bowling tournament last month local Bowling legend Brandon Novak was arrested in the middle of his performance.
According to reports the US Marshalls showed up during game 2 of the fourth round of qualifying rounds of the 2024 PBA U.S. Open from Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis, IN, and took Novak into custody.
Novak has been competing since 2012 on a high level, but this isn’t his first time dealing with law enforcement. Novak was arrested in 2022 in Franklin County, Ohio, for a TPO violation. He was also arrested in 2019 in Chillicothe for violation of a TPO two counts of tele harassment and a count of menacing stalking.

In a search locally Novak has been under investigation since February of 2023 by prosecutors for pandering and what appears to be the intent to buy, procure, and possess obscene materials involving a juvenile.
Today those charges were confirmed when he was processed into Ross County jail for pandering and other child sex crimes.
Novak is a Zane Trace graduate and started bowling competitively at 17 after winning the high school state team title. In 2012 Novak won the PBA Central Region Rookie of the Year title.
