
PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH – A single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning resulted in the death of a 33-year-old Amanda man, according to Pickaway County Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 3:34 a.m. on February 16, 2025, reporting a car crash involving a utility pole on Bell Station Road. Deputies arrived to find a 2005 Buick LaCrosse had veered off the road and collided with the pole, approximately half a mile west of Walnut Creek Pike in Circleville Township.
Investigators determined that the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway, striking the pole. The driver, identified as Kaleb B. Miller, was ejected from the vehicle upon impact. Pickaway Township EMS pronounced Miller dead at the scene.
Sheriff Hafey expressed gratitude to Pickaway Township EMS, Circleville EMS, Harrison Township EMS, Walnut Township Trustees, the Pickaway County Coroner’s Office, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol for their assistance in responding to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.
