CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Ford Motor Company has issued a recall affecting more than 30,000 vehicles due to a faulty fuel injector that could lead to fuel leaks and increase the risk of fire.

The recall, announced on March 14, impacts two Ford models—the Bronco Sport (2021-2023) and the Escape (2020-2022)—which had previously been recalled for a similar issue but were not properly repaired, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Owners of the affected vehicles are urged to take them to their nearest Ford dealership for repairs at no cost. Ford will begin notifying customers by mail starting April 24, 2025.

For more information, vehicle owners can visit Ford’s website or contact their local dealership.
