
FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH – A sobriety checkpoint conducted by the Franklin County DUI Task Force in Prairie Township on March 29, 2025, led to multiple arrests and vehicle impounds, despite no DUI arrests.
The checkpoint, set up on Norton Road south of West Broad Street, operated from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and screened 185 vehicles out of 500 passing through. Officers diverted 36 vehicles for further inspection.

Although no DUI arrests were made, authorities say the checkpoint was effective in addressing other violations and removing unsafe drivers and vehicles from the road.
