CIRCLEVILLE: It’s almost that time again for the Sixth free annual labor day fireworks, a huge event that local New Life Church puts on every year on this date.
New Life located at 7766 Stoutsville Pike sets up an amazing free event every year on Labor day weekend. Fireworks displays are bigger than that of Chillicothe and most of the surrounding areas. Why? Because the people who run those events are the ones putting on this free event for the public.
That’s not all though they have bounce houses, food, and contests, and silent auction baskets. Bounce houses are free, games are free, and the food is priced at the cost of what they can buy it for, in the past hotdogs were .50 cents, and drinks about the same.
Fireworks start at dusk but get there early last year the sheriff closed the entrance due to the traffic that was trying to get to the event last minute. Plus you don’t want to miss all the other fun FREE events they have going on.
According to Tim pastor at New Life, they had 2500-3000 people at last year’s event. The firework show was 2 1/2 times the size of the Chillicothe’s 4th event. The church claims that this is the best and biggest show in South Central Ohio.
