CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — This weekend, part of Downtown Circleville will be transformed into a vibrant festival as Kidspalloza celebrates its fifth year of community engagement with a free event for all ages. The festivities are set to fill the streets with excitement, offering a variety of activities and entertainment for the entire family.
Since moving to downtown Circleville three years ago, Kidspalloza has become a beloved end-of-summer tradition, bringing together local organizations such as Take Back the Strip, Tunestone, and numerous sponsors. This year’s lineup includes a range of activities designed to entertain and engage:
- Car Show: $10 registration fee
- Kids Show and Shine: Free for power wheels or similar vehicles
- Bicycle Show and Shine: Free entry
- Big Wheel Street Races: Free for kids
- Kids’ Door Prize Tickets: Free
- Bounce Houses: Free fun for kids
- Temporary Tattoos: Free for children
- Dunk Tank: Free opportunity to dunk local favorite Kevin
- Touch a Truck: Free hands-on experience with vehicles
- Live Music: Enjoy performances from local artists throughout the day, culminating with SoHi Rocking us out to end the event
- Food Trucks: Delicious options available for purchase
- Craft Vendors: Unique items for sale
Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unopened toy donations to the registration tent, helping to support PICCA’s Toys for Tots initiative.
The event will take place at 121 N Court St, Circleville, and will proceed rain or shine. This year, a special trophy will be presented to honor Brandon Downs, one of the event’s founding members who passed away last year. Jeff Coleman, another founding member, expressed the impact Downs had on the community: “Brandon was always part of these events… in some way, he found a way to touch everyone in the county.”
Family members of Downs will be present to select a special vehicle that he would have loved, ensuring his legacy continues to be celebrated at Kidspalloza.
