NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — GEODIS, a leading global logistics provider, is gearing up for the holiday season with plans to hire approximately 130 seasonal workers in the Ashville, Ohio area. The hiring initiative aims to bolster the company’s operational capacities in its warehouses and distribution centers, addressing the anticipated rise in consumer demand during the peak season.

According to Emarketer, U.S. holiday sales saw a 3.9% increase in 2023, reflecting continued growth despite economic uncertainties. For 2024, Emarketer projects a robust 4.8% rise in holiday retail sales, further fueling the need for expanded workforce support.

To meet this surge in demand, GEODIS is looking for seasonal material handlers and equipment operators across 13 regions in the U.S. and Canada, including Ashville. The company offers competitive wages, peak premium pay incentives, and both peak and referral bonuses.
