Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has appointed Zachary Zoz to the Fairfield Municipal Court. Zoz will officially take office on March 31, 2025, filling the seat left vacant by the retirement of Judge Joyce Campbell. He will serve the remainder of the unexpired term and must run for election in November 2025 to retain the position.
Zoz brings nearly two decades of legal experience to the role. He began his career in 2006 as the owner of Zoz Law Office, LLC in Hamilton, Ohio, where he continues to practice. In 2015, he joined the Mason Municipal Court as the clerk of court before becoming chief magistrate in 2021. He later served as a judge for the Fairfield Municipal Court in 2023 and currently holds the position of magistrate.
A graduate of Thomas More College, Zoz earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2001 before obtaining his juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law in 2004.

Beyond his legal career, Zoz is actively involved in the community as a member of the Fairfield Rotary Club and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
