OHIO – Governor Dewine’s new tax plan would cost Ohioans at the BMV.
Ohioans would pay 10 dollars more for motor vehicle registration fees and $2 more for the title fee under DeWine’s two-year budget plan unveiled Monday.
The fee hike could bring Ohioans 127 million each year for the Ohio Department of Public safety. supporting mostly the State Highway patrol and some going to the BMV.
Lawmakers in the Ohio House and could revise the proposal in the coming weeks.
