Franklin County SWAT executed a search warrant Monday morning, September 25th, 2023 at approximately 11:15am at 118.5 Logan Avenue in London as a result of a months-long drug investigation by the Madison County Major Crimes Task Force and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office SIU. Detectives located approximately 300 grams of cocaine along with a significant amount of US Currency. The resident, Tanya Tyree, 66, was arrested at the location and charged with a felony count of drug trafficking. She was transported to the Tri-County Jail pending arraignment in Madison County Municipal Court.
The Madison County Major Crimes Task Force is composed of detectives from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the London Police Division who work in partnership with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force.
