HILTON HEAD ISLAND – A group called Sea Turtle Hilton Island monitors have found a interesting turtle they had to show off.
The two headed loggerhead turtle named Squirt and Crush, is the product of a genetic natural mutation. As far as the monitors could tell the turtle was healthy, so they released them into the ocean with their brothers and sisters.
The group shared a picture of the turtle on Facebook on Wednesday, with a gloved hand. Sadly they were worried for the duo turtle because they said they believe that each head operated a flipper and they were not yet working together.
