Grove City Woman Kidnapped by Ex-Boyfriend, Rescued by Police

GROVE CITY, OH – June 13, 2024 – Koran Casey, 31, was kidnapped early Thursday morning by her ex-boyfriend, Quinntel Bagley, and later rescued by police. Bagley is now in custody, facing charges of aggravated burglary and kidnapping.

At around 4:00 a.m., Grove City Police responded to a report of Casey’s disappearance. Officers quickly located her abandoned vehicle near her residence and suspected she had been kidnapped by Bagley, her ex-boyfriend.

Approximately three hours after the initial call, police found Casey at a gas station, suffering from minor injuries. She was treated on the scene. Shortly thereafter, Bagley was located and arrested.

The investigation revealed that Bagley had surprised Casey at her home, forcibly abducted her, and taken her in his vehicle.

Bagley, who has an extensive criminal history including felonious assault and kidnapping, is also a registered sex offender. He is now facing new charges of aggravated burglary and kidnapping.

Authorities commend the swift response and coordination of the Grove City Police Department in ensuring Casey’s safe recovery.
