The Gus Macker legacy began in 1974 in Lowell, Michigan, when Scott McNeal (a.k.a. Gus Macker) and his brother, Mitch, organized a friendly competition among 18 friends. What started as a small neighborhood event quickly grew, and by 1987, the tournament expanded to multiple cities under the “Gus Macker All-World Tour.”
Today, over 200,000 players and 1.7 million spectators participate in more than 75 cities nationwide each year. The tournament is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, competitive play, and commitment to community engagement, with a strict no alcohol or tobacco sponsorship policy.
